Who we are

New Together is operated by Jurgita Ramanauskaite, trading as Gita Fitness, of 2 Linden Gate, Linden Demesne, Maynooth, Co. Kildare, W23 HE9A, Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal information described here.

What we collect

When you join our mailing list: your name and email address.

When you register for an event: your name, email address, ticket type, and anything you choose to tell us in the “anything we should know” field.

When you pay for an event: payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We keep a record of the amount, currency, date, and Stripe’s reference for the transaction.

When you visit the site: we record how you arrived — for example whether you came from a link in an email, a social post, or a search — so we understand which of our efforts are reaching people.

Health information

The “anything we should know” field on our registration form is optional. Many people use it to tell us about injuries, pregnancy, health conditions, or anything else that helps us hold the space well for them.

That information is sensitive, and we treat it that way. It is seen only by the facilitators leading the gathering you are attending, it is used only to adapt the practice to your needs, and it is deleted automatically 30 days after the event. You never have to complete this field, and choosing not to will not affect your booking.

Why we’re allowed to hold it

We process your booking information because it’s necessary to provide the event you’ve registered for. We send marketing email only to people who have asked to receive it, and you can stop it at any time. We keep financial records because we’re legally required to. Where you share health information, we rely on your explicit consent, given when you choose to complete that field.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of service providers, each processing data on our behalf:

• Supabase — hosts our database and account system (United States, Oregon)
• Lovable — hosts and serves this website (United States, Oregon)
• Stripe — processes card payments (Ireland and United States)
• Brevo — sends our newsletters (France)

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Information transferred outside Europe

Our website and database are hosted in the United States, so your information is transferred outside the European Economic Area. Our providers make these transfers under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, which are designed to give your information the same protection it would have in Europe.

How long we keep it

Mailing list records are kept until you unsubscribe. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Health information shared on the registration form is deleted automatically 30 days after the event it relates to.

Cookies

We use only what’s strictly necessary to make the site work. We don’t use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies, so there’s no consent banner to click through.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we’re using it, or ask us to send it to you in a portable format. Write to contact@new-together.com and we’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
